D-Day had finally arrived. At dawn, the first rays of sunlight timidly pierced the horizon, announcing the end of the night and the beginning of a new era. The heavy, threatening clouds that had occupied the sky for so long slowly dissipated. The soft, brilliant blue sky stretched as far as the eye could see, like a blank canvas ready to welcome all the promises of this exceptional day.

The 50th anniversary celebration of Les Prés d’Eugénie was an event of elegance and excellence, marking half a century of refinement, exquisite gastronomy and well-being paradise. Located in the charming village of Eugénie-les-Bains, this emblematic Maison, created by Michel and Christine Guérard, has over the years become a sought-after destination for lovers of haute cuisine and the ultimate in wellness.

Their daughters, Eléonore and Adeline Guérard, continue to keep this unique, family-run establishment vibrant, surrounded by a dedicated team: Anne-Laure, Andreu, Chloé, Hugo, Florence, Isabelle and all the Fé(e)s d’Eugénie!

A festive dinner

A menu artfully crafted by the Guérard trio and Chef Hugo Souchet. This festive dinner is a tribute to culinary excellence and the French art of living, enhanced by an exceptional wine and food pairing.

Pannequet soyeux de crabes, le fameux Œuf poule au caviar osciètre, Foie gras et langoustine grillés sur les braises, Merlan “à la nacre” en melba blonde…

Pour terminer en beauté, l’Arachné croquant aux cerises, chocolat amer et verveine; et L’arbre aux Délices…

The guests were then captivated by a cabaret show, featuring breathtaking artistic performances in a pastoral setting. The evening continued with a magnificent fireworks display, illuminating the Eugenie sky with dazzling colors.

The pièce montée, a pastry masterpiece created by the talented Brigade de Pâtisserie led by Quentin Lemmery, was unveiled with great fervor, delighting the gourmands! The exquisitely crafted motifs were inspired by our gardens and fountains.

Les Prés d’Eugénie’s 50th birthday celebration will be remembered as a moment of sharing, joy and recognition, honoring excellence and passion, led by a formidable team. Thank you, everyone!
