The Restaurant Michel Guérard has held three Michelin stars continuously since 1977. It also boasts 4 Toques in the Gault & Millau guide and is a member of Les Grandes Tables du Monde. Michel Guérard was one of the most distinguished chefs in the history of French gastronomy. Passing away in 2024 after 47 uninterrupted years at the 3-star level, he passed the torch and the essence of his cuisine to his successor, Hugo Souchet. Today, Hugo Souchet and the Eugénie culinary team continue to cultivate a unique culinary repertoire, blending French heritage, deep roots in our Aquitaine region, and creativity inspired by a thousand horizons.
L’Orangerie, the estate’s second restaurant, was awarded its 1st Michelin star in 2025, making Les Prés d’Eugénie one of the few properties to feature two Michelin-starred restaurants on the same estate.

What are the opening hours of the restaurants at Les Prés d’Eugénie?

Hours vary by restaurant and season:
Restaurant Michel Guérard: Dinner from Wednesday to Sunday, lunch on Saturday and Sunday (low season). During the high summer season (mid-July to late August): Lunch from Thursday to Sunday, and dinner every evening except Monday.
L’Orangerie: Grande Cuisine Minceur is served daily for lunch and dinner (upon reservation). The full à la carte menu is available for dinner from Wednesday to Sunday, and for lunch on Saturday and Sunday.
La Ferme aux Grives: Open from Friday to Tuesday, closed on Wednesday and Thursday. (From mid-July to mid-August: Open daily except all day Wednesday and Thursday lunch).
Café Mère Poule: Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Thursday to Sunday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

What is Michel Guérard’s Grande Cuisine Minceur?

Grande Cuisine Minceur (Great Slimming Cuisine) is a culinary and dietary concept created by Michel Guérard in 1975. He pioneered a gastronomic approach to light cooking at a time when these two worlds were considered incompatible. The Menu Minceur changes daily for both lunch and dinner, offering a complete 3-course meal (appetizer, main course, dessert) for approximately 550 kcal, without ever compromising on pleasure or elegant presentation. This cuisine is served daily at L’Orangerie for lunch and dinner, upon prior reservation. Rate: €65 for the Menu Minceur du Jour (excluding drinks). It stands as one of the unique signatures of Les Prés d’Eugénie and a major legacy of Michel Guérard.

Café « Mère Poule » is the culinary café of Les Prés d’Eugénie. Two rooms with fireplaces and a sun-drenched terrace exude a cozy atmosphere filled with polished wood, a gleaming samovar, and burnished coppers. The menu features savory snacks (crispy croissants, platters of local charcuterie), traditional grandmother-style pastries (the Chef’s cake, Soustons peanut tart, vanilla flan), afternoon teas, and late breakfasts paired with Russian tea from the samovar or rich hot chocolate. A lifestyle boutique completes the experience.
