The estate features 45 rooms and suites, spread across the Grande Maison, the Couvent des Herbes, and the Logis des Grives (Village). Each category offers its own unique atmosphere: Classic & Superior Rooms, Deluxe Rooms, the Indigo Room with terrace and Onzen spa, Suites, Royal Suites, Imperial Suites, as well as the Couvent and Village rooms.

Les Prés d’Eugénie is one of the very few establishments to combine four prestigious distinctions: 5-star Relais & Châteaux status since 1968, the official “Palace de France” distinction since 2017, Michel Guérard’s 3-star Michelin restaurant since 1977, and ownership by the founding couple of Grande Cuisine Minceur. Created in 1974 by Christine and Michel Guérard, the House is managed today by their daughters, Adeline and Éléonore. The estate spans 8 hectares, including 5 historic buildings, 45 rooms and suites, 3 restaurants (including one 3-star and one 1-star Michelin), a thermal spa fed by thousand-year-old springs, and 7 poetic gardens. It is the only French Palace to offer a simultaneous gastronomic, thermal, and family experience.

Three categories are highly recommended for a romantic getaway. The Indigo Room with its Onzen terrace (from €405 per night) offers a private 85 m² terrace with a spa and sun loungers. “Le Temps des Cerises” at the Couvent des Herbes (from €550) features a marble fireplace and a grand four-poster bed. The Royal Suites (from €700) or Imperial Suites (from €900) are perfect for a special occasion. All stays can be paired with a dinner at Michel Guérard’s 3-star Michelin restaurant and duo treatments at La Ferme Thermale.

Yes, our Suites (50 to 61 m²) feature a small separate living area that can comfortably accommodate a child up to 12 years old. Our Deluxe Rooms (50-80 m²) include a sofa that easily converts into a very comfortable bed for a child. The Imperial Suites (120 to 150 m²) and Royal Suites are also perfectly suited for families. Les Prés d’Eugénie is certified “Kid-Friendly” and offers dedicated children’s activities. Special kid menus are available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at advantageous rates.

Our Suites (50 to 61 m²) have a living area with a sofa bed suitable for a child up to 12 years old. Summer activities include the “Goûter Mère Poule” afternoon tea, children’s cooking workshops at the Cooking School, access to the swimming pool, strolls through the 7 gardens, and the special “Dream Vacation for All Generations” offer from July 15 to August 24, alongside a Kids Club open during the summer holidays. For family excursions, our concierge service offers several activities and discovery tours nearby: horseback riding, golf, gliding, the Prehistosite, geocaching treasure hunts (Terraventura)… and of course cycling, swimming, Mölkky, and badminton for the whole family.

Les Prés d’Eugénie is located in Eugénie-les-Bains (40320, Landes), in the heart of Southwest France.
From Bordeaux: 1h30 via the A62 then A65 motorways (approx. 140 km).
From Biarritz: 1h30 via the A63 motorway, exiting at Dax (approx. 100 km).
From Paris: TGV high-speed train to Dax (approx. 3h40), then a 50-minute drive (50 km), or TER regional train to Mont-de-Marsan, followed by a 25-minute drive (approx. 4h total from Paris Montparnasse to Mont-de-Marsan).
The nearest airports are Pau-Pyrénées (PUF – 50 km) and Biarritz-Anglet-Bayonne (BIQ – 100 km). Bordeaux Mérignac (BOD – 140 km) and Toulouse (TLS – 160 km) airports are also options. The estate provides free on-site parking equipped with Tesla and Porsche Destination Charging stations. Car rentals are available from major brands (Avis, Europcar, Hertz…) at all regional airports and the Dax and Mont-de-Marsan train stations. Finally, our concierge team can arrange private transfers from regional stations and airports.

Rates start at €270 per night for a Classic or Superior Room (30 to 36 m²) and go up to €900 per night for an Imperial Suite (120 to 150 m²). Every stay includes access to the heated outdoor swimming pool (25°C year-round), the Nordic Bath and Meadow Sauna, the Fitness Cabin, our fleet of hybrid and electric bicycles, the estate’s 7 poetic gardens, 24/7 reception, room service, concierge service, and free outdoor parking. Breakfast and access to La Ferme Thermale spa are not included in the base rate but can be added or booked via dedicated packages. Rooms are air-conditioned, feature free Wi-Fi, and are equipped with Chromecast-enabled televisions. Most of our rooms and suites feature a balcony, terrace, or garden. A complimentary selection of teas, herbal infusions, filter coffee, and microfiltered water is provided, along with a Bluetooth speaker.

Yes, pets are welcome in all rooms and suites at the Couvent and in the Village (please notify us upon booking). The property accommodates them comfortably for an additional fee of €26/day (meals not included).
